It’s been a long long time since I updated to my blog
^^ just remember I have blog which I made during IT subject in senior high
school >< Time does fly so fast ~~ I’m college student now and yeah It’s
2013 already and what I kept dreaming
about back to 2010 was granted in 2013
~~ awww
Yeap finally I went Seoul last August! still can not believe I had been there last
summer
:D
So yeah I’m freaking excited to share my story here,
in my blog which I just changed the name hhehe hope this can be an useful
informations if you are planning to go Korea soon , should we start now? hihi
Ok! Here is my unforgettable travel experience ^-^
This is just
a brief post about my short trip in Seoul (Only 3 nights 4 days because I had to submit my Passport ASAP at
the end of August for student visa extention in Malaysia -,-)
The story was starting
when I accidentally booked flight ticket to Seoul next December >< my mom’s friend who works in travel agency teached me how to book flight ticket online using credit card -_- actually it's easy but I just said yes that time --" usually
the system will gives the code via sms for
purchase confirmation but without any confirmation from bank and me,suddenly I got flight insurance and ticket via email right after that !!! ridiculous! but this might be the way God granted my dream
to go to Seoul xixi
My mom was a
bit mad knowing this and 앗싸!^^ guess what was happening the day after?! fortunately She changed her mind and allowed me to go and booked another flight
tickets for My mom,Daddy and sister for August because
I’ll do my Co-op coming December hehehe
Then not just end there I got trouble when processing my visa >< I’m foreign student in Malaysia and just enrolled
in a study program a year ago,I went to Korea Embassy in KL and they refused my application yup, It means had
to go back to Indonesia to apply -,-
I couldn’t find the requirement for a
foreign student like me online, I thought I can apply Tourist Visa here because last time my friend could get to apply Tourist Visa even less than 3 –year long residing in Malaysia but that time China was her destination not South
Korea >< definitely different
rules~
FOREIGN STUDENT - SOCIAL VISIT/ TOURISM KOREAN VISA REQUIREMENTS
Please be advised that you may apply for Korean visa from Korea Embassy in KL if you are enrolled in a study program not less than 3 year long excluding language and foundation course. And have completed more than 50% of your studies in Malaysia.your curent Malaysian visa validity also should not be less than 6 months at the time of application
Documents required are
1)Completed application form (you can fill in the form at the embassy or download at mys.mofa.go.kr)
2)One recent passport sized photo
3)Original passport
4)Letter from Malaysian university
5)Notarized invitation and guarantee from a Korean national residing in Korea (original hardcopy)
6)Personal bank statements for the latest 3 months duly certified by bank, with balancenot less than Rm 10000
7)Flight ticket and travel arrangements
Here it is!I got my tourist visa to
Korea successfully in July * btw the
visa still available till November I want to go Seoul againnn hhahaha
Then I get started
looking information for our
accomodation,place to go etc
I arranged all by myself because I was only going with my family
without travel agent and tour guide since I know how to speak Korean a bit .. but don't worry people there are very friendly and are willing to help even if you can't speak Korean
So here is my itenerary I made for 4 days before go
Tuesday August 20th
NSeoul Tower
Namdaemun
Market '남대문시장'
Hongdae Area '홍대'
Cheongdamdong’청담동‘
*I decided that it could be better if We go to Places which are near guesthouse since Gyeongbokgung royal
palace is closed on Tuesday
Wednesday August 21st
Namsangol
Hanok Village ‘남산골한옥마을’
Bukcheon
Hanok Village’북촌 한옥마을’
Gwanghwamun
Square ‘광화문광장’
Gyeongbokgung Palace
Cheonggyeocheon Stream ‘청계천’

*myeongdeong at the last day because we can go there anytime since myeongdong is the nearest one hehe
I got a cute book to noted all of this include the
Travel,Restaurant Phrases (to order
things) and directions which subway line I should take etc
Unfortunately I couldn’t manage to visited all place
above when I was in Seoul :”(( It was too little time..I missed out on going to Cheonggyeocheon Stream,Bukcheon Hanok Village and Hongdae >< I definitely have to go there if I get the chance to
go to Seoul again ahh want to watch K-Indie street performance live at Hongdae !!

feet in Korea hehe
Day 1
Arrived at Guest house around 12 pm.Definitely want to back stay there again next time ! so convienient,good location really close to subway, Myeongdong shopping district,the staffs are friendly and I think I got
crushed with one of the staffs there LOL
,He was helping my dad turning on the tv
and said ‘terima kasih’ awww cute 이름이머야 ㅋ
LOL regret I
didn’t ask about that huh
One of the reasons
I like Korea so damn much beside the culture ,the other wonderful things
Korea got is the guys haha I find korean

Ah yaa I also Met
Korean guy who realy loves Indonesia at LCCT~ just like language exchange
I spoke to him with Korean and He asked me in Indonesian language,He was talking
with my parents with Bahasa also~ get impressed! Ok once again regretful
I didn’t ask his name...all I know He is from Daejeon >< It’s something
rare that hard to find ‘Korean Guy who can speak bahasa’ aww haha

Day 1
We went to Namdaemun Market right after arriving
My Mom bought ahjumma hat and trot cd..so ahjumma
style hahaha

Take me back there and lock a love padlock at the
fence with me!! *-*ㅋ
I could see many Tshirt couple everywhere 보기좋다♥
부럽다ㅎㅎ
Beautiful sunset view I took from cable car before

Almost couldn’t manage to go Namsan Tower because my
parents were to tired, thankfuly NSeoul tower free shuttle bus came when we were on the way back to guest house :D
We didn't go to Hongdae as
planned just directly went

Day 2
Insadong We went there to pay bus reservation to Nami Island

At Night We
decided to go Myeongdong bought a lot of make up from The Face Shop,Etude
House,Banila Co,Holika Holika,Tony Moly ,Nature Republic ahhh Girls paradise :D
Day 3 Nami Island ^^
We went to Insadong first~and waiting for the bus in
front of Tapgol Park and it took around 2 hours to reach nami
I ordered this patbingsu at nami ^^ nom nom~ shaved ice with sweet red beans and fruit~ what to eat on a hot summer day in Korea!:))

Yeah and the day after We just stayed at Guest House
and headed to Airport around 12pm
I miss Korea already!
That’s all my brief story today...gonna post more
things about my trip to Korea !! :D About Directions, How to take the subway till how to
buy T-money and get refund ,useful Travel Phrase I used when at Seoul and many more~~Stay tuned ^^
